We're Indus and we're developing technologies to help hydroponic farms grow their crops with less waste, more resistance to pathogens, and higher yields.
To do this, we're developing a 3D-printing/CAD pipeline that includes exclusive access to proprietary software to create SmartSoil — an engineered support material optimized for holding the perfect amount of water to grow root veggies in hydroponics systems.
Indus is supported by the University of Toronto Entrepreneurship Hatchery where we have successfully raised $40K in 2020 through the Lo Family Social Venture Fund and by finishing 2nd place in the NEST 2020 Demo Day (link to our winning pitch!).
